Envoy Legal’s Founding Partner, Jonathon Tichy, has been described as “an uncanny problem-solver...with international flair.” With a unique savvy for advising closely-held companies and individuals, Jonathon has a distinct talent for understanding and addressing complex legal and regulatory issues that companies face in today’s competitive marketplace.

Jonathon’s clients include industry leaders in energy, consumer goods, transportation, manufacturing, finance, online retail, and IT startups, that come to him for his exceptional legal and government relations acumen.

Several prominent non-profit organizations, schools, churches and religious organizations, and private foundations have also engaged Jonathon to represent them in the United States and internationally.

For several clients, Jonathon serves as outside general counsel supporting the management team and managing the full spectrum of their business-related legal and regulatory compliance needs by identifying, engaging, and managing the diverse professional resources needed to protect their legal and financial interests.

Jonathon is also a consummate people person and represents and advises individuals with sensitive legal needs seeking high-level personal engagement and attention to detail. He has secured numerous settlements and judgments for clients in cases that other lawyers gave up on or said couldn’t be won.

Licensed in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah, Jonathon has a strong civil litigation and appellate background having successfully represented clients in matters before state and federal administrative agencies and courts.

Prior to founding Envoy Legal, Jonathon was the head of the international law and government affairs practice group at Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler - recipient of Utah’s Best of State Award a record four times during Jonathon’s tenure with the firm. He has also led litigation and appellate practice groups at other law firms. Jonathon also previously worked with top global law firms White & Case and Baker McKenzie and for the U.S. Department of State in a special diplomatic assignment.
